Please Note
Beginning May 1, 2023, all plan submittals are required to be one hard copy and one digital copy on a USB device. The USB device shall be formatted to be compatible with bluebeam.
Ways to Submit Plans
January 1, 2021
- MAIL: If plans are submitted by mail, include two copies of the plans, permit request and payment.
- IN PERSON: Plans can be submitted in person at our main office
Our clerks will then receive and process your plans submittal and/or fee payment. You will then receive an e-mail with a receipt of your submission. To schedule an inspection, or if you have any questions, please call our office at (281) 238-1500.

- Construction meetings are conducted on Wednesdays from 9am-2pm. Contact the office to schedule a meeting.

We have adopted new codes
As of November 9, 2021, unincorporated Fort Bend County will utilize the 2021 International Fire Code, related Local Amendments and the Fort Bend County Fire Code [PDF].
